Quasi-Legal Institute Incorporated is an independent research organization registered in the State of Wisconsin (established May 2025). Our mission is to investigate quasi legal practices—actions that are technically legal but ethically problematic—in government and corporate systems. Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status is currently pending.

Internship Structure

We offer unpaid, remote Public Policy & Legal Research internships to undergraduate and graduate students. These internships are educational in nature and fulfill Department of Labor guidelines for unpaid internships.

  • 2-month flexible cycles
  • 2–5 hours per week (fully remote)
  • Mentorship by volunteer staff
  • Publishing credit on public briefs
  • Deliverables include memos, reports, and visual tools

Eligibility & Participation

Our internship programs are open to students, early professionals, and research volunteers worldwide. We do not require university sponsorship or course enrollment, although we support those pursuing credit.

Credit & Verification

We are happy to coordinate with university faculty, career services, or corporate internship offices to support evaluations. Our Executive Director can provide confirmation letters, signed evaluation forms, and documentation of hours worked and tasks completed.
